On May 20th, 2010, I’ll be attempting to ride my bicycle across the United States from San Diego, California to Saint Augustine, Florida as a fundraiser for both Camp Okizu and Camp UKANDU. Both of these organizations offer children and their families who are living with cancer, the opportunity to meet others facing the same challenges, to try and forget their diagnosis for awhile and have Groupfun in the spirit of summer camp with medical oversight. My nephew was such a child, and his family continues to express gratitude for such services. What I’m offering is to ride with your donation of a penny per mile, an estimated 3,000 miles in 30 days (or about $30). For you I’ll be making postings of my trip along the way. I will not be accounting for donations, as your pledge is based on the honor system and should be made directly to either organization. If you’d like to help further, you can do so by Timothy Nutleyspreading the word regarding this fundraiser. It should be fun and your help is greatly appreciated!

I will be updating a journal online:
